I am heartened by all the publicity of the fraud and malpractice that has and is occuring in the IPCC, DRU, NASA, and even NOAA. If in fact, but that is yet not known, that there is an increase of the percentage of CO2 in the worlds atmosphere, what's the harm? Nothing, so far produced, has shown that that fact would be harmful. Oh yes, many alarmists have sent out fear messages that we are all doomed, but that is all that has happened. They just said it, but produced nothing to prove it. So far, have the seas risen? No! The measurement of one or 2 centimeters is not possible when you think of the oceans. Gravity, wave action, night and day, the wind, the tides, the sun and the moon, all push and pull at varying amounts and skew any such measurement that has real meaning. So, I am confident in saying that so far, the seas have not risen or fallen nor do I or anyone else know just what has happened. If I am wrong, then I would like to see the proof of it one way or the other. Now you know!

What's the big deal? I've got a PhD and an MS. An MS thesis is pretty damn close to being peer-reviewed; a committee thrashes it before it is accepted. The people crying about this obviously don't understand what is involved in writing and defending a science-based thesis. Even if it isn't ultimately published, the data collected is still valid. Not every thesis is suitable for publication; sometimes the information is so specific or obscure that there is no suitable journal. In other cases, the student gets a job and loses interest in publication.

TS:

Deeply buried? It's in the center of the page. I hope this isn't the excuse that you and the proprietors of this page plan to hide behind. Again: do your homework.

As for me looking up the footnotes, I have. Which is how I know their inclusion here is complete BS. And since I'm not the one tossing around accusation I'm not the one who needs to back them up by providing the information here.

Apparently your excuse can be summed up in one word: laziness.
